Vodafone debuts mobile music store

Vodafone today pushed the button on its new mobile music store, Vodafone Music.
The store, which is available on selected Vodafone Live! Handsets and also available to download, allows customers to preview songs for free, as well as download tracks to their phones.
Vodafone singles out the store’s “enhanced visual library”, which allows users to browse for tracks using a “Smart” search option.
Singles and albums cost on average £0.99 and £7.99 respectively
“With Vodafone Music, customers will be able to make the most of the Vodafone Music store as well as gaining an entirely new musical experience on their phones,” says Vodafone UK head of music Tom McLennan. “Our commitment to music and our handset technology allows for the ultimate user experience coupled with great value for money.”
